Sense Media Group Launches RoboSens for the Robotics and Physical AI Community

According to the International Federation of Robotics, factories worldwide installed more than 603,000 industrial robots in 2025, pushing the global count past five million for the first time. Seven years ago, fewer than half as many were in use.

Many of these robots work inside fenced areas, doing the same task over and over. However, the next wave is heading into warehouses, hospitals, farms, railyards, and even homes, where people move around and conditions change by the minute. To work in these places, a robot must understand and comprehend its surroundings in real time.

Sense Media Group, the team behind AutoSens and InCabin, is launching RoboSens, a new technical event set for next October in Barcelona, Spain (co-located with AutoSens and InCabin).

RoboSens focuses on the engineering behind robotic perception. The agenda covers LiDAR, radar, cameras, and tactile sensing, along with sensor fusion, localization and mapping, and spatial intelligence.

Sessions will also explore safety and validation, simulation and synthetic data, robotics compute, foundation models, physical AI, and the move from prototype to deployment.

Bringing all three communities under one roof gives robotics teams direct access to the engineers, organizations, and companies already solving many of the same perception challenges in ADAS, automated driving, and DMS/OMS.

The RoboSens advisory board includes engineers and industry experts from NVIDIA, onsemi, Cadence, indie.inc, rFpro, Metahelios ltd, The Noelte Group Inc., and The National Robotarium.
